Sun is shining but snow still hanging around, arggggggggggg!! I thought my kitchen needed some color so I got out my tabletop that I made last summer..It is from PATCHWORK & QUILTING and I ,of course put my own spin on it.. Mine represents my Mom, me and my 2 sisters.. They love it and I am Miss black and white, really!! I did some machine quilting, machine applique and Mr. Couple did the binding.. any hand work goes straight to him :)

Lovely Antique Quilts
TALK ABOUT QUILTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
These were just a few of the quilts that were there.. Lots of doilies and tablecloths china tea cups, thought of Jenny and Blossom, how much they love the tea..This one particular quilt called CRAZY KALIEDOSCOPE OF GRANDMOTHER'S FLOWER GARDEN.. the lady at the Herb Fest had purchased it at a sale and had been told the story of the quilt. She had made 3 of the same exact pattern for her 3 children but the only one left was this one. She said the family had been from Nebraska and nobody knew what happened to the other 2. Some of the pieces in the quilt were just 1/2", very small, the quilt had no batting and was roughly hand quilted. But so striking!
