GREAT DAY WITH ANNIKA!!!

Gloomy day but not with my grand daughter.. We enjoyed the quilt show and bought some goodies. Then on to IMO'S for lunch.. After that a trip to Walmart then home for crafting.. A little down time and then we are painting my salt dough bunnies. I got the recipe from Painting Thyme Needfuls and hers were so good, hope mine turn out half as good.So many quilts there, hard to pick a favorite and we walked around several times trying to decide..This was one of the favorites in the wall hangings The Lincoln and the flower one has all hand painted blocks, really nice.

SPRING, I HEAR YOU CALLING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, spring, I can hardly wait.. Shopping for groceries I just couldn't pass this breath of spring.. A little color for the sun room.Got my bunnies out and  lots of candy to take us through the holiday. Also a tray of pansies to brighten my wheelbarrow..
Granddaughter # 4 coming this weekend,, quilt show, sewing lessons,crafting and a trip to the mall will be the order here.. We will have a short visit but it will be packed full..
