STAR COUPLE?? WOW

 I don't know how many of you are followers of  IRISH MUSES but Mr. Couple and I have been chosen as her star for April.. Kind of a qwinkie dink but our anniversary is April and we will be married 53 years..We were so honored and she really has a great blog..She and Joe are awesome soulmates too. One of the questions was what was on my design wall and I told her I was making bags for the animal shelter festival. My DIL volunteers there and they are trying to raise money.. I am also making a cat/bird bag too. My Son and DIL recently adopted a dog and he is just the sweetest , there are so many animals out there waiting to have a home.

First of all thanks to all who have commented on my blog, I really look forward to all. Plus I love visiting all of you and seeing what you are up  to and get my morning giggle.. So many have ask about my salt dough bunnies and I was not going to reveal them because..... you be the judge? Painting Thyme Needfuls gave me the recipe and they were easy and then deciding the thickness and baking, ok, that done. Dry overnight and paint..Well being a tole painter I could not just leave them prim, which was the plan. So I started shading and just making a disaster of the whole works.. Here are a few pictures of the critters and my first grade attempts.. My hat goes off to Lynn, she is such a good artist and if you haven't been to her blog, you must go there and see all her creations.. Thanks and may the good Lord bless all of you.................

BIG BIRTHDAY WEEK

Daughter #1 and  3 granddaughters here for the week from Indiana.. We had such a good week with shopping, having birthday party and visit from Uncle and his dog..Then on Saturday the St.Louis family came to celebrate  2 April birthdays.. We baked  and decorated cakes and really had some fun.Then Saturday night not expecting to get to see one and only grandson, he surprised us late evening and spent the night.. The girls were ecstatic..These are the 5 girls from my 2 daughters..Aren't they beautiful?? It was the 2 girls on the ends birthdays.. 14 and 12..The time went so fast and now back to my blog friends..and of course the clean-up:(
